Senior Swim Instructor

$35-$50 per hour based on experienced

North Seattle Swim School is a family-owned swim school in Lake Forest Park (just a few minutes north of Seattle). We offer private lessons to help students of all ages and abilities learn to love swimming and meet whatever goals they have in the water.

We are looking for experienced swim Instructors to join our busy swim school. The swim Instructor will be responsible for teaching private swim lessons and creating a safe and fun learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a swim instructor, be CPR and lifeguard certified, and have a passion for working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. You should be comfortable teaching all swim strokes as well as water safety techniques.

Schedule

• Saturdays and/or Sunday

• Weekday afternoon/evenings.

• Exact hours are negotiable

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to students of all ages and abilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans

• Create a safe and fun learning environment

• Assist with pool maintenance (minimal)

• Communicate with parents and guardians

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a swim instructor

• CPR and lifeguard certified (or ability to get certified prior to starting)

• Passion for working with children and adults of all abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must pass drug test and background check
